Mitron opens its doors in Seawoods, Navi Mumbai

Head to this newly opened place in Navi Mumbai to groove into some hip music, their in-house breweries and of course, the foodie epidemic outbreak. Mitron Seawoods has a large space that has been decked up beautifully with a theme that talks about industrial brewery with lit ambience accompanied by warm lightings and stationed distilleries at one corner. So, go grab your friends now and get to this ‘M.I.T.R.O.N’ to have an amazing evening altogether.

At an opening night, the evening went successful with DJ Rohit playing refreshing mix of Hindi and English party mix. It put us into real groove while we got our hands into their very proclaimed breweries. I am sure that this place in Seawoods is going to be the next best party spot especially for the Navi Mumbaikars.

Breweries

They have launched their very own breweries which are very refreshing and unique. To name a few – ‘Aurum Fest’ has the classic German style Marzin Lazer with a pronounced toasty maltiness and light hop character. ‘Dark Seducation’ is a Milk Stout beer with notes of sweetened coffee, expresso and chocolate. A top fermented beer made with predominantly Pale Ale is the ‘Tangerine County’. My favourite ‘Simon Go Back’ has dark copper brown colour with nice rich English Malt complexity and mild hop balance. And ‘Wunderbanana’ made with Bavarian Wheat is smooth, clean and bottom fermented lager beer.

Food

There was a set tasting menu with Veg and Non-Veg starters followed by the main course. Appetizers were more of Indian and Chinese combination while the mains had the Italian and Indian. We were so drooled by the breweries that we had a little space left for the food. Though we did dig into some Veg starters like ‘Achari Aloo’ which are basically baby potatoes tossed in pickle and spices, ‘Angara Paneer Tikka’ are paneer cubes tossed in some vegetables and fiery spices, ‘Chicken Chilly’ from the Non-Veg Classic Chinese starter that are too basic and goes well with the bar nibblers every time.

Talking about the mains, one can never go wrong assuming if the menu mentions Italian which must have Pizza. Hence, Tandoori Paneer Pizza, Bbq Chicken Pizza and Margarita Pizza to list down here that we got offered for tasting. On the Indian side of the main course, we had Veg and Chicken Biryani.

Since it was a launch party, an exclusive event for the bloggers; we had limited and pre-set options from the food. Though limited but scrumptious. Nonetheless, Mitron Seawoods looks promising and a great place. Special mention to their self-made breweries and an extra insight that one can get from the quirky liquor industrial décor that they’ve got.
