HumTea DumTea is a reasonable chai-time pit stop located bang opposite to Indiabulls in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The employees can just hangout for tea and quick bites at ‘HumTea DumTea’. It is a fantastic place especially for such employees who can hangout with their friends and colleagues in their break time. Their menu consists everything of ‘Mumbai special’ in quick meals for you to savour along with your tea.
HumTea DumTea is a cosy place with casual interiors. The place mainly offers a variety of flavours in Tea. It doesn’t have seating arrangement so the only option there is to stand. It primarily focuses on delivery and takeways. But the place is worth a go-to option for all the employees working nearby.
Let’s talk about the menu..
As I mentioned, HumTea DumTea is a place for tea lovers. They offer many flavours in Tea like ginger tea, elaichi tea, masala tea, kesar tea, etc. I had my favourite Ginger tea first and then Kesar Tea while my friend sipped Masala tea. The best part was that all these tea were served in Kulhads. Honestly, I love drinking hot beverages in these small kulhads which are an authentic Indian style of drinking tea.
While sipping down my favourite tea, I also munched on Bun maska chutney cheese, Bombay Masala Sandwich, Schezwan Maggi and Paratha with Makhani Dal. All of these were very delicious and lip-smacking. You will find majority of the options in their menu are particularly Bombay style like bun maska, pav bhaji, sandwiches, etc. All of these dishes are renowned for quick bites and street food in Mumbai.
What I liked about HumTea DumTea was their awesome tea varieties. Also, I liked that were serving in authentic purvas/kulhad (earthen clay glass). It is the best place for all the employees working nearby for a small hangout. I can totally recommend their Chai and dishes like Bun Maska Chutney Cheese, Sandwiches and other Bun varieties. Their price is very reasonable as compared to big outlets like Chaayos. So if you are up for your evening chai with some buns and sandwiches, chill at HumTea DumTea with a glance over high rise corporate buildings around. You can check more about this place from here.
