Relish ‘Khana Khazana’ in Charni Road, Mumbai

Khana Khazana, located in Charni Road, Mumbai is a perfect family dining place to indulge in a lot of varieties from their special multi-cuisine menu varieties. Its a whole paradise of scrumptious meal to choose from while the family can have a special time bonding and eating lovely food out here. They offer Gujarati, Punjabi, Chinese, South Indian and even limited Mexican and Lebanese options too along with the traditional Mumbai style food. Dessert and beverage options are limited. I could see beautiful families chilling and the vibrant ambiance to spend a happy time.khana khazana

Everything came out to be too warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly providing you your order in no time. According to my experience, Khana Khazana is more of Indian food rather Chinese or Mexican or any other (not Indian) dishes that they offer, so I would recommend to only opt for Indian food and you could know why from my below mentioned food experience-

My dinner experience was a mix of Chinese, Gujarati and Punjabi dishes. I had Chinese and Gujarati as my starters and went for punjabi for the main course. Also Read: Get to taste traditional Sindhi swad from Sindhi Zaika, Mahim

Veg Hot & Sour Soup and Veg Sweet Corn Soup
Veg Mushroom Soup

This soup was very nice. It had loads of mushroom and veggies just like hot & sour.

Sweet Corn Soup

This was too sweet, the proper taste of authentic sweet corn soup was not here.

Veg Manchurian

Veg Manchurian

This had more of soya sauce present in the Manchurian.

Paneer chilly

Chilly paneer tasted same as veg Manchurian and has the same soya sauce consistency. If soya’s consistency would have been lower, both of these Chinese dishes would have been perfect.

Masala Fried Khichia

Masala Khichia

Khichia is that particular Gujarati snack that you’ll find in such Gujarati eating outlets and so Khana Khazana has it. It is one of that authentic Gujarati option that is eaten as snack. This one had loads of veggies, butter, green chutney and crispiness to bite on. Also Read: Savour boxes full of delicious Indian meals at home from Box 8

Deewana Mastana

We slipped on to the main course by savouring their chef’s best. Deewana Mastana is from their punjabi dish option. It is a mix of two veggies and was rich in flavours and spices. I would highly recommend to try this with Indian breads there.khana khazana

Kaju Khazana

Kaju Khazana is all about kaju and garlic tossed in tomato and onion . It went amazing with our Cheese garlic naan & butter kulcha that were served along with.

This one’s my favourite. Must try if you wanna go for a dessert. This was their dessert of the day.

Another dessert of the day at our visit was Chocolate Mousse. This one turned out to be so delicious for a chocolate lover like me.

Rich Indian food and cosy environment are what I would describe about this place. The vibe is warm and a must for family dining and Indian food. And the price is reasonable too.
